Om hvilke tre steder han ville anbefalt å besøke i Asia sier Faber "I would say, if I include India to Asia, I would go to Jodphur, and I would go in Asia to Siem Riep where you have the Angkor Wat ruins, and I would probably go to Kyoto or Nagama in Japan."
Om hvilke steder han ville besøkt om han var ung og singel og ville nyte nattelivet, sier Faber "For nightlife you must go to Bangkok, and then again to Bangkok, and then Bangkok! I then you can also go to Pattaya. But everywhere in Thailand the nightlife is good. And the nightlife is also good in Jakarta, it's a bit different, but it's also good. And the nightlife is also very good in Singapore and Hong Kong. But, I wouldn't know about nightlife, because I'm sort of an innocent young man."
Om hvilke bøker han ville anbefalt et barnebarn sier han "I think a very readable book, which contains everything you want to know about financial markets and central banking and money and history, is Manias, Panics and Financial Crashes by Kindleberger, Charles Kindleberger. i think this is a book people should read several times, because its short, its very very to the point. its probably one of the best books that has ever been written. Well, I would read, probably, Fernand Braudel, History of Civilization and Capitalism. It's three volumes [1, 2 & 3], it's easy to read, but time consuming, but it's wortwhile. Then you know a lot about history and how the centres of commerce changed and why, and so forth. A very good book, he's a, I mean, one of the great thinkers of this world. And then I would read Lessons of History by Will Durant."
